Canadian Disney TV fans like me would enjoy to paid a fair Disney+ membership for gets many popular and also, the most neglected and underdog animated series of their library. Bonkers is among them, by be the one noteworthy thing that divided fans here and there, and that cataclyst about what makes a "real" cartoon or not in this continue to persists. I adored this show by introducing me to the Disney Afternoon block at that time, when it was still available.
If I paid it, that would be the very first time in thirty long years I will (legally) seen it in its entirety, since leaving the block with no Family Channel at all (Back it was all Disney-centered materials that played it). But I wouldn't have the heart to do it.
Teacher's Pet also own a somewhat fandom in its depressingly-short two seasons, by even own an animated feature to that matter. It was Timothy Björklund's "baby", fewer times before to taking charge of the Brandy & Mr. Whiskers TV series, but why that latter is still not available there from my own impression?
Seriously, there is no way that Disney didn't including these in its platform, but in another way, that would be understandable. The fandom is gone since the reruns has all quit the airs... back in 2010. Now, the series has a bad rap to the whole internet due to the loot of gross-out jokes, voice-actors who constantly yelling their lines and thought this is not the worst Disney TV series ever (like The Proud Family or The Buzz On Maggie), the show embodied what would be about if those bizarre Screen Gems/Columbia cartoons shorts were came to life. The only place where the TV show remains accessible are by a YouTuber that have posted these over ten years ago. From their original print and not the awkward remastered copies with dreaded "Photoshopped" credits in the title-cards.
The only goal of why this blog was came to life is to drawn a picture of the history of the TV show and the depressing 00s decade of the Disney's company where more attention were spawning to irritating youth characters who speak loudly as they came from Vaudeville instead of a normal TV show. Sadly, Disney Channel keep this tiresome formula all over and that in the America, the channel still have a bad rap too because of this. Do we want our children to be raised by these?
Since conventional television can't played any shows that were cancelled anymore, they've all migrated to streamings, free of that rampage announcers mentality who complains to been forced to paid broadcasters just for ran old reruns. You also got tons of free, ad-on supported Television (FAST) channels to get your wishes to look of your favorites from the past. That would be only great if in Canada, apart the fewers like Plex, Pluto TV among them, more choices and variety would be available to us all, and for a decent cost.
