But... There was many "Buts" in there.
The 00s decade of comics or BDs like we use to says was rather murky and appalingly terrible. Like most mainstream animation were, BDs have stopped to be fun to read, no mention the many artists of old (Like Dupa, Morris or Roba) have passed away at that decade. It looks like they featuring rude and immature characters in hope to please an edgy audience that seems to have never existed. A little like the way Teletoon had managed to plays on Monopoly with the works of many creators on years.
Problems are also many. I have never seen any of the actual shows' episodes, which means I have to be related to the synopsis posted online for made a picture of this. And when my english was weak at best. But looking of some detailled plots says before, there is a lot of drudge that represented all the problems of the creative department at that time. Sadly, nothing have changed today.
Ans also, fewer animated cartoons were able to be adapted in another medium and turning profitable. The fewer ones who did it are ironically, the Disney comics series of Mickey Mouse and Carl Barks series of Ducks. Compare them in animated cartoons (while beautifully animated) to the comics series and seen why lots of Disney fans in the world would choose the latter.
But times passed by, and it will turned out impossible to do it without the company would interverne for any arrangements. And actually, you know why adapting an animated series with lots of bad criticism would never be made on any other medium?
The same could be says for others 00s shows, such as Kim Possible, The Fairly Oddparents et all. These are just mediocre, derivative and bad.
Perhaps a good thing that it's on my own creations that I've turned some comics narratives if I having to watch the series at first place.
Currently, the mold of comics is broken. Now aimed for the elite, a very left-winging upper class that shows no respect or empathy to the pains of the society and when out of nothing, you can be kicked out of your property without defend yourself.
And when the cultural world demand help by living up on starvation. Radios and Televisions have make a disservice to the variety of creative talents for just only ran the one shows with the same faces over and over and over-- as if the audience is allergic to tame a culture that are for them unknown.
Even by trying to made my own series of gags pages years ago, I realized that this is become less attractive nowadays than it was when my Brandy & Mr. Whiskers gags-pages came merely ideas from mine's by never be made on paper. Anything from Bamboo Éditions share the same tiring format from the French-Belgium comic Golden Age, when the industry face to many changes, like streamings, the saturation of Mangas releases and inflation of everything.
The remaining years are going to be deadly for the medium. If nothing change and that stays like they are, just make BDs are likely to be stuck on the past, like the way we get rid of videoclubs, Night-Clubs and Vaudeville. This is like an Europpean thing to enjoy these readings from something that went as "illness alienation" in North America.
