Diversity is STILL a problematic on arts

Diversity, equity and inclusion are three words that were overused by any marketing and working agencies. For them, it's not a fad, but real-life.

In the world of arts, it still become a dealbreaker. Just take a look of this picture seen right and you'll seen that diversity is not that diverse at all on artworks, fanarts, animated movies/shows and also, on comics, graphic novels or children's books.

In this age of cultural appropriation, it's the job of minorities to tell their own narratives and not just hold a white, moronic and uneducated creator do up the heaviest-lifting. When I talk of diversity and inclusion, you can screw away any kinds of anthropomorphic creatures if it was seen everywhere for many decades.

For what it may concerns me, the real and most trusted form of diversity we could have is about people who have a disability. You know, those who have asperger syndrome, Trisomic 21, autism, those who are on wheel-chair or have to walk with a cane. This is the "real" diversity most medias don't want to seen. For have known many people who living up on these conditions, they were anyhow some of the most greatest individuals I ever met. Few of them been longtime friends of mine that date of school. Despite some efforts to tell otherwise, the world of marketing and jobs seems clueless that people who have a disability can participate to the Paris' Paralympics games without whinning to the cameras. This is what most normal people couldn't understand!

I admit that over the years, my comics art is still lacking of any kind of diversity, but this is never a good thing to be in the head of another race or gender person for tell their narratives. DeviantArt and the likes seems very scary to shown anything else than just pretty girls and Furries. It's what keep them a good income for around a quarter-century, if I have figured first about its name.

Modern art have also a real problem about life-observation. Sadly, the popularity of Artificial Intelligence have just been a form of intellectual cheat for any kinds of true artistic kind. Yeah, those pictures are pretty good, but it was done by type instead to pull a pen and start drawing it from scratch. Looks like that the old days of actual, hand-drawn art or those with a Digital tablet are definitely dead.

If your characters or world consists of furries, you better to figuring why they're animals in first place. This is why in its heydays, the Looney Tunes characters still worked out. Like, Bugs Bunny live on a hole. Daffy Duck on a lake. Tweety on a cage. Sylvester's a alley cat. Foghorn Leghorn live up on a barn. You get the point? Sure, you don't have to study wildlife for make your stuffs some sense, but despite be based of radio shows, they actually study humanity on the best and worst ways as possible. That is why the Looney Tunes were still adored for generations of fans, young and old. Their humor is mostly not complex, but they were making it like new for us. I can imagine the reception these shorts actually having in their original theatrical release...

I'll get in works for the upcoming chapter story of the young adult Christine by finally giving the reason why Christine and Bugsy's cousin, Suzie been finally a roomate and part of their life. It's also seen the heroine back in college in order to keep her dude ranch job back. It will be the most biggest challenge yet, if the newer story will be mostly adult-material, but not just in the Rule 34 though.

Remember that diversity is not an buzzword. It's real-life.
