My life after Next-Gen Christine

There is two weeks now that I've didn't made any original drawings. This seems like an eternity, but I wasn't so pleased of the results of my late works. My current departure with DeviantArt means that I was very, very tired of what the website become since many years. Leaving this place after almost two decades there was the hardest part, if I may have the tendency to get back, but after my fraud story and with the guys who think i'm "talented" enough to made arts commissions agreements with them by notes means that DeviantArt been less comfortable when it's related to enjoy and share arts.

The picture seen right (above) was a brand-new one. It's a newer attempt of my fursonas characters, Christine and Bugsy, from 2022s "The Revenge of Victor". Some iterations later, the Christine series keep to thrilling me by be a very "feminist" one, in which female characters, besides to be pretty and fancy, are not always obsessive with shopping et all, but to focusing on the evolution of their relationshps until adulthood. Since Series 2 beginning in 2017, the follow-up was so, a Coming-of-Age of the evolution of the main heroine, by be even getting highly taller!

Now my gags series is definitely gone for good, I have no plans for a new story with them. I haven't made anything new about Sarah in months by be on stand-by for a while. Currently, the artistic world unpleased me by its "unartistic" feel and blandness and one got the idea that some female singer-artists didn't have actually wrote the songs, but strange sixty-year old mens who are just obsessed to harass them. Like the way Britney Spears and also, Miley Cyrus (Regardless your level of likes or hates!) have fighting for years over the creepers who have destroyed not only their career, but their lives.

And then, you have weirdos like Thomas Joly who made anything a "show", but sounds that he seems very overreacted lately, mostly by his Olympic Games controversy with the Drag-Queens (aka Sexist pedos!) rehearsed The Last Scene, to which it caused him some death menaces and harassments on social medias by trolls. To point these Games have largely debated about the matters of gender, diversity and inclusion means a serious deal that we've maybe lost what makes the Olympic Games so inspiring to watch for the live and TV audience; to see the contestants winning medals for what have costs them years of practice and hard work. While very beautiful, the Paris' Olympic Games means the begin of the end of global events without these topical concerns don't felt apart.

This is part why I have quit with arts for a few weeks. Repeating the same things over and over means that I am getting on auto-pilot and that I have anything to says anymore. There is fewer works now that stays memorable to me and it's not due to budget or quality control. Series and movies need to be better than the competition to seek an audience or they'll cease to exist. That explain why the late issues of 2016s Les Fées Valentines, published from Dargaud was a shrug. The switch-change of cartoonists (and characters designs) have simply deteriorated what made the series so likable at first place... No mention that the final story released in 2021 seems something that only may please an Infant audience. Things are getting very repetitive and tiresome in this medium.

2016s version, from what it all beginning.

2021s version, when everything turned on mundane and unwatchable!

I wonder how much people were "robbed" by following this series. No need to ask why it have ended with such mediocre results. Just because a series featuring an all-girls cast of characters don't means it went turned anytime a hit. The Sailor Moon franchise has thriving years after the original series had ended its run for seek its well-deserved cult-popularity. Something that for Friends, does to something only medias' people getting crazy over it than any normal people I known from the street.
